14 | Note made from Terry Pearson to Lori Pope says that Jacob was the youngest of Charles and Manerva's children. He joined up as soon as the civil war broke out. He had at that time a wife and new baby. he returned to Marble in 1862 after becoming ill in the field and he died in 1862. Find a Grave has a grave marker for him in Norman, OK and has him living until 1922. I have searched the civil war records and to date have not been able to come up with a Jacob Rutledge from AR on either side. This needs more research. | Rutledge, Jacob Owens (I1059)

15 | There are two Maiden Names for Sarah's listed on Ancestor trees. Sarah Owens is listed but they would have to been married in Alabama two months before their first child was born. Sarah Simms seams to be the best guess at this time for a maiden name. Found in Marriage index for Tennessee 1789-2002. Marriage date 7 Dec 1809 in Maury, Tennessee, USA. Only issue here is the length of time till lthere fist child is born. | Simms, Sarah (I37)
